With Q3 2024 seeing the lowest number of layoffs this year.

Only around 117 companies have announced cuts, impacting approximately 38,000 employees globally. Samsung Electronics is also significantly reducing its workforce by 10% in Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions, in an effort to improve operational efficiency amid stiff competition​
