Aleph Zero is teaming up with leading telecommunications companies worldwide to develop standardized blockchain APIs for the sector.

Aleph Zero, known for its advanced blockchain technology, has joined the CAMARA Foundation as a General Member. This partnership will help integrate blockchain technology with global telecom standards, focusing on Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs). Aleph Zero will collaborate with telecom and tech leaders to advance blockchain-specific initiatives, particularly the Blockchain Public Address API, which aims to simplify blockchain interactions via mobile devices.

The CAMARA Project, launched in 2021 by the Linux Foundation and GSMA, seeks to standardize APIs for telecom networks to ease network complexity and improve access across different operators. The Blockchain Public Address API, now in version 0.1.0, allows the management of blockchain addresses linked to phone numbers and facilitates transactions by pairing phone numbers with blockchain addresses.

Aleph Zero will leverage its expertise in privacy-preserving technologies to enhance these solutions. Antoni Zolciak, co-founder of Aleph Zero, highlighted the rapid integration of blockchain technology into mainstream infrastructure and expressed enthusiasm for contributing to the CAMARA Project.
